Older Dude… Raw, Rugged, Royal

I’ve always loved the Kawasaki Ninjas. They’re sleek, sexy, fast and so Japan. On Saturdays, while living in Ottawa, Canada, I would stop by the hanging ground of Ninja owners at ByWard Market to adore and appreciate these beauties, specially the neon green ones.

Now, I’m not a huge bike aficionado and don’t know all the makes and models nor had shown much interest in them (Ninja aside)…

Today, while riding my humble Trek 7.1FX “bicycle”, my eyes caught this beautiful Dukati resting in someone’s driveway. I had to trespass –their driveway (sorry)– to take this picture.

Some part of me connected with his raw, rugged and royal demeanor. He can be fast (he is); he can be sleek (he is); but more than anything else…

He’s all meat and bones!
